Getting started
- Open Collection to browse or add watches (a dial photo is required for new entries).
- Use Week to plan which watch to wear each day.
- Tap a watch to log service history, timing, exports, and tools.
- Open Me (avatar, top left on main tabs) for insights, reminders, coin store, and settings.
Frequently asked questions
- Is my data backed up to the cloud?
- No. Velcri stores your collection on your iPhone. If you use iCloud Backup for your device, app data may be included in that backup according to Apple’s policies.
- How do I delete all my data?
- Go to Me > Clear All Data. You will be asked to confirm twice. This removes watches, service records, wear plans, and resets coins to the default starter balance.
- Why are notifications not working?
- Velcri uses local notifications. Make sure notifications are allowed in iOS Settings > Velcri, then enable the reminders you want under Me > Settings and Service Reminders. If you previously denied permission, turn alerts on in iOS Settings first.
- What are Velcri Coins?
- Coins are an in-app currency used for premium exports (such as HD posters and share cards). You can purchase coin packs through the App Store. Purchases are processed by Apple.
- I purchased coins but did not receive them
- Ensure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the purchase and that the transaction completed. If coins still do not appear, email support@velcri.app with your purchase receipt from Apple.
- Can I restore purchases?
- Velcri Coins are consumable credits, not subscriptions. They are spent when you use export features. There is no separate restore flow for consumed coins.
- How do I add or edit a watch photo?
- When creating a watch, a dial photo is required. To change it later, open the watch detail page, tap Edit Watch, and choose a new photo from camera or library.
- What are Winder Slots?
- Winder Slots let you map each physical winder position to a watch, TPD (turns per day), and rotation direction. This is for your own reference—the app does not control hardware winders.
- Camera, photos, or microphone access was denied
- Open iOS Settings > Velcri and enable the permission. Inside the app, Velcri will show a prompt with a shortcut to Settings when needed.
Troubleshooting
- App feels slow after a large collection — keep photos reasonably sized; avoid extremely large imports when possible.
- Service cost shows $0 in Insights — add a cost note with a number on service records for spending stats to calculate.
- Demo data after install — Velcri may seed sample watches on first launch. Use Clear All Data if you prefer a blank collection.
- Still stuck? — force quit and reopen the app, ensure iOS is up to date, then contact support.
